The Bloom Pyjama Set is cut from a 95% bamboo viscose / 5% elastane jersey chosen for one reason: it moves moisture away from the skin and lets heat escape, instead of holding both against you the way cotton and polyester do.
Why the fabric matters
- Wicks, then dries. Bamboo viscose pulls moisture off the skin and releases it into the air, so the fabric doesn't stay damp against you.
- Breathes. An open, fluid knit lets warm air move through rather than trapping it against the body.
- Stays soft. A fluid drape that doesn't cling, and noticeably lighter than a cotton jersey of the same weight.
- Gentle on skin. A smooth, low-friction knit with flat seams.

Why it works
The fabric is the whole point
Cotton soaks up moisture and holds it inside the fibre, so it stays damp against you. Polyester barely absorbs anything but traps heat with nowhere to go. Bamboo viscose does the one useful thing: it moves moisture out and lets warmth escape.

Cut relaxed through the body, with a little shape at the side seam. The trousers sit at the natural waist on an elasticated band with a soft tie, so there is give either way.
Between sizes? Size down for a closer fit, or stay where you are for more room. Neither is a mistake — returns are free either way.

How does it actually feel?
Fluid and smooth rather than fluffy — closer to a fine jersey than to brushed cotton. It hangs away from the body instead of clinging, which is most of why it feels cooler.
Will it shrink or go bobbly?
Wash cool and keep it out of a hot dryer and it holds its shape. The elastane helps the surface recover, so it stays smooth. Wash inside out and away from rough fabrics.
Can I use fabric softener?
No — softener coats the fibre and blocks the wicking. It is the fastest way to undo what you paid for. The fabric is already soft.
What size should I order?
